We also monitor the overall health of your computer to help ensure optimal performance. This service is available to both Residential and Business customers at a very low cost! Optional Antivirus (Anti-Malware / Anti-Exploit / Anti-Ransomware) protection from Malwarebytes or Bitdefender can be added to each device for a low additional cost, allowing us to actively monitor the software and ensure your system remains protected at all times. But if you have your own AntiVirus solutions, in most cases we should be able to monitor it too. |

Q: What if I get rid of my old computer and get a new one—can my monitoring service be transferred? A: Yes. We can easily transfer your subscription to your new device, or if you keep both, you can add it as an additional device. |

Q: Can I sit back and relax about security and let you handle everything? A: Unfortunately, no. We encourage you to stay alert online and perform updates when prompted—but rest assured, we’re monitoring your system and have your back. |

Q: Am I locked into a long-term contract? How do I cancel? Do you offer refunds? A: No long-term contract is required. You may cancel at any time. However, we do not issue refunds for billed services. But we do give credit towards other services. We do appreciate advance notice when possible. |

Q: How long have you been offering this service? Do you have all the kinks worked out? A: We launched this service in April 2026. It’s still fairly new, so there may be a few things we’re continuing to refine. New features and improvements are actively being developed. |

Q: You mention you sell Malwarebytes and Bitdefender for anti-malware—can I choose, and how does that work? A: Yes, you can choose, which one, having two Antivirus software is not recommended. We’ve been offering Malwarebytes to our clients for several years and highly recommend it; however, it is billed annually. Bitdefender can be added or removed at any time, 30 day minimum. If you cancel the device management service, you can keep using Malwarebytes as long as you want, at the standard non-discounted annual fee. |

Q: Did you build this system yourselves, or is it provided by a larger company? A: No, But we wish! We utilize Splashtop’s Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) service to monitor and manage your device. |

Q: What operating systems are supported? Does this work on tablets or cell phones? A: This service supports Windows 7 and newer (Windows 10+ strongly recommended) and macOS 10.13 and newer (macOS 12+ recommended). Tablets and mobile devices—including Android, iOS, and Chromebooks—are not supported. |

Q: Can I use the anti-malware software on my Android or iOS devices? A: Yes. Malwarebytes works well on mobile devices. Bitdefender mobile support may vary. |

Q: Can I add or remove devices at any time? A: Yes. You can add or remove devices whenever needed. A small one-time fee of $5 will apply, and charges will be prorated. Please give us a few days’ notice when possible. |

Q: Is there software that needs to be installed on my computer? A: Yes. You’ll need to install Splashtop Streamer. It runs securely in the background while your computer is on, allowing us to monitor system health and remotely assist you when needed.
Q: How does this Splashtop Streamer compare to your Splashtop SOS for remote support? |
A: The software we currently having our customers use is Splashtop SOS, you have to download it from our website, run it, and provide us with a 9 digit one-time use code. If you need assistance again, you have to run it again and provide us with the new code. This new software is called Splashtop Streamer, it makes it much easier for us to help you, you need to download it still from our website, but you install it, which is similar to run, but it remains installed and allows us to more easily remote in, no code needed, without you needing to do anything down the road. |
